About Okinawa International Carnival
The Okinawa International Carnival is a popular event that began in 1993.
It is known for its international flavor unique to Okinawa City, where people from more than 60 countries live.
The purpose of the festival is to promote harmony among citizens and revitalize industry, and as an event that showcases the international flavor of Okinawa City, contribute to the development of the city as a “City of International Culture and Tourism” through the citizens' cooperation in music, entertainment, sports, and other forms of exchange. In addition to a parade of local groups and event performers parading along Gate 2 Street and a Samba carnival with colorful decorations, traditional performing arts attractions, urban sports, and a brass band performance by the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force Band, this year's festival will be held in conjunction with the Okinawa International Festival and Okinawa Music Month.

■ Venue: Koza Music Town 1F and the entire Koza Gate 2 Street area

*There is no dedicated parking lot for the carnival. Please use public transportation,
Okinawa City Hall, Okinawa City Central Public Parking Lot (in front of Okinawa City Library), or nearby toll parking lots.
*Please do not park on nearby streets without permission,
as it is very inconvenient for residents living in the area.
